Day 52 (Sept 14, 2024) Twin Farms, Barnard VT
We continue to be impressed with Twin Farms and we took full advantage of the resort today. We started with a light workout in the fitness center and then made our way over to the pickle-ball court for a lesson. Although we lost the match 11-2, we had a blast. We also tried some axe-throwing - neither of us would be dangerous in a axe battle.
After our class we headed over to Jake's pond where Twin Farms had arranged a private lunch for us.
After lunch we finished our scavenger hunt and then relaxed a bit on the deck of our tree house. We then headed to Twiggs for some cocktails by the fire and a game of river-roads-and-railraods.
On our walk back to our treehouse we (Filip) spotted an owl. The owl seemed as interested in us as we did in him.

| Sadly, this was the best picture we got of the owl. |
Dinner was at the main house where we had foie gras and filet followed by a photo shoot with Captain Banana! One of the really neat aspects of Twin Farms is there is an element of playfulness everywhere, but you have to look for it - behind the picture- a stash of alcohol.
