We had a weekend at home to unpack, do laundry and repack before hopping on a plane to join Meg and Kevin in Cabo. Unfortunately the day started with a two-hour delayed flight to Houston, meaning we would miss our connection. But, one of the advantages of living in Miami is that Fort Lauderdale is close, so we were able to rebook from there. We made it to the Dreams resort in Cabo late afternoon and after checking in, went for a walk on the beach. The waves were huge and the whales watching was spectacular. Merecedes, our bartender/sever for the week,  was impressive - he was super friendly and always running to help someone.
