Our drive today was 199 miles and included a stop for one of the signature activities in Gros Morne National Park. The Western Brook Pond boat tour, a 2-hour boat ride into the glacier-carved land locked (faux) fjord, included a ~2k hike to get to the boat from the parking lot.

Our hotel, The Tides Inn, is in Norris Point, where we have a really lovely, spacious room. We walked to the Cat Stop Pub for dinner. The Cat Stop was a cute pub right on the waterfront with lots of outdoor seating. Sadly (for us), Noah Hamilton (live musician) had attracted quite a crowd, so the only menu options left were deep-fried food.
