Day 8 (August 1, 2024) Lake Placid NY to Montreal Quebec

On our way out of town we did a quick hike to Owen Pond before heading up to Montreal (114 miles).  

We spent the afternoon walking along the streets of Montreal and perusing the numerous art galleries, many of which were quite unique.

Dinner at Toque!  7-course tasting menu was great - the dishes were really creative and the staff went out of their way to provide excellent customer service- including a private tour of the wine cellar and kitchen.

We spent the night St Paul Hotel. Room was spacious with purple blinds!
