Day 7 (July 31, 2004) Saratoga Springs NY to Lake Placid NY

After yesterday's long drive, we were rewarded with a short drive, only 109 miles to Lake Placid  

And while the weather didn't cooperate with us, we didn't let us stop us. After a nice lunch overlooking Lake Placid we set off on the Jackrabbit trail (~5miles in total) utilizing the tree-cover as our umbrella.  

Zach, the bartender at Maggie's Pub, made us creative cocktails and provided dinner recommendations  both for tonight as well as tomorrow night in Montreal. 

Dinner was at Artisan's overlooking the lake. Overall our stay in the Ridge Room at The Lake Placid Lodge was quite peaceful.... and Filip was pleased with the Lambo's #1 parking spot.
