Day 18 (Aug 11, 2024) Fox Harbour, NS to Brier Island, NS

We had a long drive today (269 miles) which included 2 short car ferries.  We took the scenic route along the Bay of Fundy with an unplanned stop in Burntcoat Head Park - which turned out to be a nice surprise as we arrived at low tide where the stated feature was a walk along the ocean floor.

We arrived at Brier Island Lodge around 4 and quickly headed out for an afternoon hike hoping to spot some seals at seal cove. We saw a few bobbing around in the water but none on the shore. Regardless the hike was great and private.

Dinner was in the hotel restaurant where the staff were super friendly and the food was really good.
