Day 12 (August 5, 2024) Parc National de la Gaspesie, QC to Shediac NB

After a quick (1.5 mile) morning hike on the Chute Sainte-Anne Loop we hopped in the Lambo to venture on to New Brunswick!  As it turns out today is New Brunswick Day and it is 1 hour later in NB than it is in Quebec.  The 314-mile drive was pleasant, particularly coming out of the national park. 

Kelley Beach in Kouchibouguac National Park was about an hour away from our hotel in NB. We had to wade through pools of water on the sand to get to the beach and both the sand and the cold water felt great on our feet.  The beach was perfect for kite flying.

We stayed in Auberge Gabriele Inn and had dinner a short walk from our hotel at La Coast
