Day 10 (August 3, 2024) Quebec City, Quebec to Rimouski, Quebec

Quebec City was unique, it felt like a mix of Washington DC, the renaissance festival and Europe. Pictures from our morning walk before our drive:

Our drive was 191 miles to Vieux Loup De Mer in Rimouski. We had a few stops along the way- but the highlight was our 7 mile hike in Bic National Park. It started off very tame but mid-way through (after an easy walk along beach), the hike turned into a rock scramble along the coast followed by a walk through a pine forest where the scent was delightful.

We made it to our hotel and at least one of us was disappointed when the receptionist informed us that it was a short walk to our rustic chalet. But the view off the balcony made up for it.  Our tasting menu tonight consists of what we can create for ourselves from the small grocery at the reception!

Our evening was complete with a beautiful sunset.
