Day 4 (July 28, 2024) Savannah GA to Asheville NC

310 miles today. We stayed at The Radical - "Asheville's most fantastical boutique hotel". Their tagline is fitting and their food was good.  The highlight was the DJ in the round metal ball above the bar.  We were pleasantly surprised by their unadvertised excellent fitness center. 

Our driving entertainment included listening to a few chapters of The Breakfast of Champions by Kurt Vonnegut and exploring new artists: Victoria Monet (Jaguar 2) and War and Treaty (Lover's Game) and the Crawlers (The Mess We Seem to Make). Of the 3, we liked The Crawlers the best.
